Community Guidelines

Lore exists to help people form real connections based on who they actually are — not curated highlight reels. These guidelines protect that mission. Every person on Lore deserves to feel safe, respected, and free to be authentic. Breaking these guidelines may result in warnings, feature restrictions, or permanent removal from the platform.

Authenticity is the foundation of meaningful connection. On Lore, you must:

• Use your real identity — your actual name (or the name you go by) and your own photos
• Record your own voice for voice introductions — no AI-generated voices or recordings of others
• Keep your profile current and accurate, especially your age and location
• Never impersonate another person, celebrity, brand, or public figure
• Maintain only one account

Catfishing, fake profiles, and misrepresentation of identity are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate permanent ban.

Everyone on Lore is a real person with feelings. Treat others the way you want to be treated:

• No harassment: Do not send unwanted messages repeatedly after being ignored or rejected. Disinterest is a clear answer.
• No hate speech: Slurs, derogatory language, or content targeting someone's race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin will not be tolerated.
• No threats or intimidation: Direct or implied threats of physical harm, doxxing, or blackmail are criminal offences and will be reported to law enforcement.
• No body shaming or bullying: Negative comments about someone's appearance, weight, or physical characteristics are not acceptable.
• No unsolicited explicit content: Do not send sexual images, videos, or messages unless both parties have clearly and mutually consented.
• Respect boundaries: If someone asks you to stop contacting them, stop immediately.

Your safety is our priority, and we need your help maintaining it:

• Never share financial information (bank details, credit card numbers, crypto wallets) with matches
• Never send money to someone you've met on Lore, regardless of the story
• Meet in public places for first dates and tell someone you trust where you'll be
• Do not share your home address, workplace address, or daily routine with strangers
• Be wary of members who refuse to video-call or meet in person after extended chatting
• Report any member who asks for money, promotes investments, or shares suspicious links

The following content is strictly prohibited on Lore:

• Violence: Content that promotes, glorifies, or incites violence against any person or group
• Self-harm: Content that promotes or encourages self-harm or suicide. If you or someone you know is in crisis, please contact local emergency services
• Terrorism and extremism: Content supporting or promoting terrorist organisations, extremist ideologies, or radicalisation
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM): Absolutely zero tolerance. Immediately reported to law enforcement and NCMEC
• Non-consensual imagery: Sharing intimate images of another person without their consent ("revenge porn")
• Animal cruelty: Content depicting or promoting harm to animals
• Illegal drugs: Promotion, sale, or solicitation of controlled substances

Lore is a dating app, not a marketplace. You must not:

• Promote products, services, or businesses in your profile or messages
• Recruit for multi-level marketing schemes, jobs, or events
• Solicit followers for social media, OnlyFans, or content platforms
• Use Lore to drive traffic to external websites or apps
• Offer or solicit prostitution, escort services, or sex work
• Send spam messages or copy-paste identical messages to multiple matches
• Use Lore for research or data collection without written authorisation

Respect other people's privacy as you would want yours respected:

• Do not screenshot or screen-record private conversations and share them publicly
• Do not share another member's photos, voice recordings, or personal information outside of Lore
• Do not publicly "out" someone's sexual orientation, gender identity, health status, or other private matters
• Do not use information from Lore to stalk, harass, or contact someone on other platforms without their consent

Profile photos must meet the following standards:

• Show your face clearly in at least one photo
• No nudity or sexually explicit content in profile photos
• No photos of children alone (group photos with children are allowed only if you are also in the photo)
• No photos with weapons, drugs, or drug paraphernalia
• No watermarked, stock, or heavily photoshopped images
• No memes, text-only images, or non-personal content as your primary profile photo
• No photos of other people without their consent

Lore's voice introductions are unique to our platform. They must:

• Be recorded in your own voice — no AI text-to-speech or pre-recorded audio from others
• Not contain hate speech, explicit sexual content, or threats
• Not include personal contact information (phone numbers, email addresses, social media handles)
• Not advertise products or services

How to report

If something feels wrong, report it. You can report any profile or message directly from the app using the report button (flag icon). Reports are confidential — the person you report will not know who reported them.

What happens after a report

Our safety team reviews reports within 24 hours (urgent cases faster). We use a combination of human moderators and AI detection to investigate. Based on severity, we may:

• Issue a warning
• Temporarily restrict account features
• Remove offending content
• Permanently ban the account
• Report to law enforcement where criminal activity is suspected

Appeals

If your account has been restricted or removed and you believe this was an error, you may appeal by emailing support@mylore.in with the subject line "Account Appeal". Include your registered email and a brief explanation. Our team will review and respond within 7 business days.

The following behaviours result in immediate, permanent ban without warning:

• Any form of child sexual exploitation or abuse
• Human trafficking or promoting sexual exploitation
• Credible threats of physical violence
• Sharing non-consensual intimate imagery
• Terrorist content or active recruitment for extremist organisations
• Underage users (accounts immediately terminated and data deleted)

These cases are reported to relevant law enforcement authorities.
